Call for Ideas

Terms & Conditions

For the Knappenhof Call for Ideas 2026. This is not a lottery in the legal sense — the best idea is rewarded by the organiser at their own discretion with an iPad.

§ 1 Organiser

The call for ideas is organised by Philipp Volgger, St. Jakob 11, I-39049 Pfitsch (BZ), Italy. It is private and non-commercial.

§ 2 Eligibility

Any natural person aged 14 or older may participate. Minors require the consent of a legal guardian. Employees and direct relatives of the organiser are excluded from the selection.

§ 3 How to participate

Participation is exclusively via the form on knappenhof.org. By submitting an idea you accept these terms.

§ 4 Submission deadline

The submission deadline will be announced in good time on knappenhof.org. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

§ 5 Reward

The best idea is rewarded by the organiser with an Apple iPad 11 (256 GB, WiFi). Which idea is rewarded is decided by the organiser at their own discretion — based on creativity, thoughtfulness or surprise value. The reward cannot be exchanged or paid out in cash. This is not a lottery in the legal sense; there is no legal entitlement to the reward.

§ 6 Evaluation & selection

Submissions are evaluated by the organiser at their sole discretion. The decision is final and cannot be contested. There is no entitlement to a specific evaluation or feedback.

If the same or essentially identical idea is submitted by more than one person, the submission received first will be considered. The timestamp in the host's system is decisive.

§ 7 Notification & handover

The selected person will be notified by email at the address provided in the form. If they do not respond within 14 days of the notification, the organiser may select a different idea.

The iPad is handed over in person in Sterzing/Vipiteno. If the selected person lives too far away, shipping within the EU is also possible — the shipping costs are covered by the organiser.

§ 8 Rights to the submitted ideas

The intellectual rights to the submitted ideas remain with the submitters. By participating, you grant the organiser the non-exclusive right to use the idea within the further planning and implementation of the Knappenhof — without further remuneration.

If your idea is published in the "Submitted Ideas" section on knappenhof.org, the following applies to your name:

Surname, email address and other data are never shown publicly. Every idea is briefly reviewed before publication — the organiser may decline publication without giving reasons; this has no impact on the selection.

§ 9 Exclusion from participation

The organiser reserves the right to exclude submissions that violate applicable law, insult others or are obviously manipulative (e.g. multiple submissions under different identities).

§ 10 Privacy

Which data is processed and how it can be deleted is described in the Imprint & Privacy.

§ 11 Legal recourse & applicable law

Legal recourse is excluded. Italian law applies. If individual provisions of these terms are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
